Good thing they are all extinct. We wouldn't be able to build a fence high enough or strong enough to keep them in or out. Can you imagine taking a swim and being attacked by the large piranha or pecked at by the big bird. A wild time for all back then!

Reminds me of the Reports of the Thunderbird in Texas and Arizona.

These creatures were so big, it's hard to imagine them. It sounds unreal when we see how small today's birds are, for instance.
