For me.. I think it's better in the night because there's less noise contamination, I know many people will say it's the "scare" factor but honestly I think it's better x

Either, doubt that "ghosts" know the difference, less likely to get hit by cars about same time, night or day.

night has the scary feeling and imo more activity but i also enjoy in the daylight and have found things in the day also

I wouldn't think it matters much .
Hauntings happen at all times during day or night.

The best time(s) for investigation are the days/nights within a full moon phase when the veil between the two realities is at it's thinnest point.
