Re: John Titor Ok my thoughts, JT says: The year 2008 was a general date by which time everyone will realize the world they thought they were living in was over. The civil war in the United States will start in 2004. I would describe it as having a Waco type event every month that steadily gets worse. The conflict will consume everyone in the US by 2012 and end in 2015 with a very short WWIII. So the war ends in 2015, he came from 2036 and he said he was not the first TT. So lets assume they invented the time travel machine in ehmm 2034?? that seems reasonable. So 19 years after an all devastating nuclear war we invent a time machine.........that is very hard to believe IMHO. After WWII it took the Netherlands 7 years to rebuild and get back on their feet, and we only had like 3 or 4 big cities bombed. So lets imagine the damage after a nuclear blast, probably more devastating than the ones who fell in japan in WWII. Not only a few cities get destroyed but lots of them I think it will take a hell of a lot longer to rebuild and get back on their feet again then those 19 years. Unless they decide not to rebuild and leave half of the USA perish and look after themselves. The only reason I can think of why they want to do this is to work on a time machine, and use it to prevent this disaster from happening. So we got some problems then, they know they can't prevent it because if they change things in the past there will probably be a different timeline in which the war didn't happen so nothing changed for their (our) timeline. Even if it would stop the war from happening, why sent JT? They must know by then that one guy can't make the US and RUSS gov. from making mistakes, they would have to sent an army of TT, and I don't mean like 100 TT, I mean an army armed to the teeth. So my opinion is that JT story seems a bit dodgy and highly unlikely. just my 2 cents. R.D.
