Mass CME glances earth. Amazing Aurora Pics.

A massive CME barely missed earth on Friday. Luckily someone was there to take some photos. Makes me think though. There is no warning system in place. We won't know of a CME until it hits us I think. Unless they knew it would miss. Either way the sun is getting real excited and predicted to hit its peak of the 11 year cycle in 2013.

The sun is wild for sure. The movies, 'Knowing" and "Last Night" are good ones regarding this type of disaster. A DJ on my radio station from Nashville said, "I'm not worried about 2012, it's the solar storms of 2013 that worry me!" You are right...it will hit us before we know what hit us, we'll be like a deer in headlights!
