My idea for a rocketship that could travel a few years or months into the future

I have an idea for a rocket that could travel a few years or at least a few months into the future. It's to have one normal-sized plasma rocket, with smaller-sized normal rockets attached to it, and smaller and simpler rockets attached to them. I may post a drawing of it if you like, but what what do you think? Could this really travel into the future?
