On Wednesday night I said I would meet my boyfriend at New Malden station as we were going Korean food shopping. Its easier for me to get there as I was at home when he suggested it, so I was there first and waited for him. It wasn't late at night, only about 7.30am, but as it was cold I walked up and down the platform to keep myself warm. At one end of the platform there is a wooded area on the other side of the fence. I stopped when the platform ended and looked into the woods, it struck me as how scary it would have been to live in the woods when there was nothing else around for miles, especially at night. I heard something make a "hee" like noise. It could have been the couple larking around down the platform, but it sounded so close and they weren't anywhere near me (no one was and its a long platform). I turned my head and saw a blurry figure turn and run into the woods. The figure seemed to be dressed in modern clothes - white hoodie top, jeans and trainers; it also made no sound as it ran, and from what I could make out it had no face.
Needless to say I did not go back that way again.
