Default Armed Assault IR Tracker
I came across this video that demonstrates a device that relays your head movements into this particular FPS. For example when you turn your head right or left it tells the players view to pan or tilt. Very cool stuff, but I don't think you could get any geekier wearing one.

Seems like you could get the same sort of experience from a Nintendo Wii remote You could do something like this in Call of Duty 3 for that system.

Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to try one yet. I've seen demonstrations of it with people playing tennis and bowling though and it does look fun. I read somewhere they thought about releasing one of those motion headsets. With a combination of that and online play I'd be really tempted to get one. What would you say the learning curve is with the wii remotes, are they hard to get used to? Thats what scares me the most about it. It looks like it would be awkward in some games.

It's a strange feeling at first, but I've found that it's more comfortable than any other game remote I've ever used. With a normal remote you've got to sit there with both of your hands on this small area, pushing almost a dozen buttons and wiggling the joysticks... With the Wii remote you can sit with your hands wherever you want and flick your wrist back and forth to do whatever you want.

Some of the games are pretty involved as far as moving around (Wii Sports), but most of the ones I've played can be played lounging on the couch without flailing your arms around or anything like that (Zelda, Trauma Center, Call of Duty 3).
