Actually, yes this what i think exactly. When I watch the movie the first thing came to my mind was the building and positioning style of the pyramids in Egypt. It is like saying that "our adress is here ,Orion, and we invite you when you are able". As I said this was just the thing came to my mind when i see prometheus, i have no detailed scientific explanations of course.
