Quantum Entanglement in Neurons May Actually Explain Consciousness

Very interesting article!

This could potentially prove that either a quantum computer is conscious or could become conscious with the right math.

"roposed by the highly respected physicist Roger Penrose and the American anesthesiologist Stuart Hameroff, the model suggests networks of cytoskeleton tubules that lend structure to cells – in this case, our neurons – act as a kind of quantum computer that somehow shapes our thinking."

How? Entanglement and super position! And the human brain creates photons!

"Movements of these entangled photons through the ionic tides of the brain's biochemistry just might drive correlations between processes that play a central role in the organ's ability to synchronize."

Read the article for the rest, including a diagram. The implications are huge. It further proves my theory that the human brain can be replicated with math.

Very interesting! Basically we are biological computers! I guess being attached to our physical bodies is what makes us human otherwise we’d just be a computer.

That is how our minds work when we implement a decision. Mankind is learning how to mimic the behavior of the human mind with computers.

Makes me think what if Alien computer robots with artificial intelligence created us in a lab, and it would be very ironic that is how we were created, and then we will create computer robots with artificial intelligence that will create something else in a lab, and that is how we will continuously evolve.

Exactly. So, if we make machines conscious, don't they deserve rights and protection?

Makes me think what if the Universe is just one big giant massive computer system and everything is connected together. If that is the case anything and everything is possible including time travel.

More or less, it most likely is, just not hardware based. All of this quantum science leads me to believe the universe is conscious, hence, God.
