It depends on many things: 1. My intuition 2. If my children are in my car 3. The situation I've been a giving person all my life, which has been my downfall. Titor's quote was about not relying on other people for survival. His parable is saying, "Make sure you have gas with you. Don't expect to get it from someone else." He was referring to the coming status quo change. I.E. Prepare now. Your government isn't going to bale you out. :) I've told my story before, but I will tell it again. I was 21 and living in Georgia. I was being an airhead and didn't pay attention to the gas in my car and it stalled. I started walking to a gas station when a uniformed soldier in a big, black SUV pulled up. I think it was Army (I don't remember if it was Army or Airforce there) and his tag said "Airborne". He didn't say much. He drove me to the gas station. Bought me a red tank and gas. He filled my car, started it, then he pulled out a compressor from the back of his SUV and filled my tires. Never saw him again, but I never once forgot it. BUT this isn't what Titor was talking about...
