St. Malachy Prophecies: The End of Religion - The Last Pope (Petrus Romanus)

The End." </span></span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size: 15px">Some people think the last pope will be the <a href="http://www.biblelight.net/false.htm" target="_blank">False Prophet spoken of in Revelation </a>of the Bible. I'm not convinced of that. Here are references to the False Prophet in John's <em>Revelation</em>.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size: 15px">The false prophet is mentioned as such, 3 times in the book of Revelation.</span></p><p> </p><p style="margin-left: 20px"><span style="font-size: 15px"><span style="color: #ffff00">Rev 16:13 (KJV) "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet."</span></span></p> <p style="margin-left: 20px"></p> <p style="margin-left: 20px"><span style="font-size: 15px"><span style="color: #ffff00">Rev 19:20 (KJV) "And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone." </span></span></p> <p style="margin-left: 20px"></p> <p style="margin-left: 20px"><span style="font-size: 15px"><span style="color: #ffff00">Rev 20:10 (KJV) "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."</span></span></p><p></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size: 15px"><span style="color: #ffffff">My opinion...The Last Pope will either be very good or very bad. He will either stand by Believers of Jesus Christ through the Great Tribulation giving them hope and strength as he ought to...or if he is the<span style="font-size: 15px"> False Prophet, he will </span>usher in the Antichrist. Only time will tell, but now we know <em>we don't have long</em> to wait to find out.</span></span></p><p style="margin-left: 20px"></p><p></p><p style="margin-left: 20px">P.S. Wikipedia has the following at the end of Malachy's Pope Prophecies. I thought it was worth mentioning, but I tend NOT to believe it. If there is a Pope after Benedict, then this bit of information is incorrect.</p><p></p><p style="margin-left: 20px"><span style="color: #ccffff">"There is a claim that the original list written by St. Malachy does not contain a reference to <em>Petrus Romanus</em> and that the last lines were added to the printed text in Wyon's <em>Lignum Vitæ</em>.
