Every time you cloned the first piece of gold you have what you started with 100% gold. The second time you clone the first piece of gold you might end up with only 50% of the atomic structure of gold in the two pieces of gold. And then the third time you clone the first piece of gold you might end up with only 33.3% of the atomic structure of gold in all three pieces of gold.. And each time you clone from the first piece of gold you would keep diminishing the atomic structure of gold.
