Someone recreated Super Mario Kart (SNES) as a browser game, it's pretty impressive and it's a lot of fun. I discovered it earlier this week. It's awesome!
They improved many things. There's a ton of new drivers that you can unlock. They included all the races from Mario Kart on GBA. The opponents are much harder, and they use all the items available. Drifting gives you a little boost too.
You can also play against other players online, and take part in a global ladder ranking.
Check it out, it's great, especially if you have a controller.
