Imagine a cross between a Hobbit's home and a building from Star Wars and it might just look something like this.

Bohumil Lhota, a 73-year-old builder from the Czech Republic, has spent years constructing his unique abode, which is as functional as it is cool.

He came up with the idea in 1981 and finally brought it to reality in 2002, building it in the ground to benefit from the cooler temperatures.
