The WOW! Signal?

The WOW signal circled is 6 rows of data. Does that mean the recorder took snapshots of the signal every 12 seconds, one row for each snapshot if the circled data represents 72 seconds? Or does the additional rows of data encompass the 72 second signal?

The heart looks more like a field penetration than a drive field.

A warp drive field is more of a pull-push drive in that the field ahead of the ship would pull it towards itself, then the field behind the ship would push the ship away. Just about every scifi show I've seen gets this wrong and makes it look like a boat on water making waves.

The wow signal contains no data. That is the text form of an amplitude chart from the 1970's. If anything, it would be considered a short beacon, like a lighthouse at 1.42GHz. The rest of the numbers you see on the page are noise.
