A Time Hopper’s Lament
It was 2203 and I went to see what I would see
But oppression’s band was active then
And I went instead to 1983
Seeking there the New Earth Community
But not the scams that charge admission
Or call New Age what is just religion
No, these are fighters in the trench
But the men in grey appeared that day
And left me with no choice
So the Cygni weapon sent them star hopping
And then I heard the voice
Incarnator or pirate of time
It doesn’t make much difference
A struggle always ensues
Before one can do the freedom dance.
