It looks like a standard electric motor with the motor brushes arcing as it speeds up.

right there ienstein but one strange thing i noticed was all thee strait sparks or filings of metal ignited flying out one was not like the rest it snaked away like a sinewave

Most motors don't make a light show like what was shown. It could be that the commutator is extremely dirty. The motor could be being run in an over voltage condition. Or it is even possible that the brushes are losing tension due to excessive wear, thus causing excessive arcing. There are still more things that can cause excessive arcing. The main thing I wanted to point out is most people have never seen anything like this.
