well things don't seem to be slowing down at all .!!!!!!colorado is jumping in the fray now how ever we must remember what good ole George washington said about guns in his first sate of the union adress heres a quote from it. funny he seems to think we should have a good supply of guns and ammo military style and grade just incase... George Washington's First State of the Union Address - US Government Info/Resources Jan.8th 1790 A free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined; to which end a uniform and well-digested plan is requisite; and their safety and interest require that they should promote such manufactories as tend to render them independent of others for essential, particularly military, supplies Colorado to Ban ALL Pump & Semi-Automatic Shotguns Most hunting and self-defense shotguns could be banned by a bill that’s making its way through the Colorado Legislator. State Senator Greg Brophy is warning Colorado residents that the high capacity magazine clause in House Bill 1224, would instantly make almost all pump and semi-automatic shotguns illegal in the State of Colorado. The bill, which prohibits the sale, transfer, or possession of an ammunition feeding device that is capable of accepting, or that can be readily converted to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition or more than 5 shotgun shells, would make almost every hunting shotgun illegal in the State of Colorado. Because most modern shotguns have the ability to accept an extender tube, these shotguns would fall under the bills readily convertible clause, and classify them as high capacity magazine devices. After July, 1 2013, Colorado residents will be unable to sell, transfer or even lend one of these firearms to anyone without committing a crime. This means a father would not even be able to let his own son fire his shotgun while out hunting. The bill has already passed the house, and Colorado Governor Hickenlooper says he’s going to sign it once the Senate passes the bill, which is expected to happen on Monday
