Multiverse or so it is called it is where every choice that can be made was made and every scenario that can happen did happen. Meaning when you felt like drowning your boss in a fishbowl on his table then just because that thought exist spawned a reality that it did happen and a version of you is now in prison because she/he drowned their boss in a fishbowl.

Everyone is, ever wonder why people change, suddenly become different? Every choice every thought spawns a new reality and if your reality is shared by them "interact" then sometimes you notice a BIG change is someone's life even your own. You are the past the present and the future of your own existence until your physical body cannot process thought anymore, then a new system "unknown to us" becomes relevant.

now imagine your worst most evil thought becoming a reality... scary thought hey....
