what to bring on time travel expedition

I have thought about this or a long time. If you successfully built a real time machine which would allow you to physically time travel to the past. what would you bring or not bring.
for me

not bring: electronics.
bring silver bars to sell.

First aid kit
Money, if you know where and when you're going.

All kind of survival gear could be useful, depending where and when you're going.

For instance, a watch or compass might be completely useless if you go 500M years in the past or future and end up in a universe like Star Wars.

the money part is covered by the silver. Silver has always been a medium of exchange. you can always buy the coinage in use of the time with it. the best part is that using silver bought today your dollar will go farther than that.

A chemistry lab is not so far fetched. You may not be able to produce it at the rate of a modern factory, but you could produce it.
