I get updates in the UK a lot faster than you do in Oz my old friend!!...It appears to me that you don't even know yourself why the travel ban was instigated, so I will have to tell you...Some unknown Italian person who had recently returned from the UK developed what an Italian scientist believed was a mutation of the Covid 19 that can spread much faster than the original Covid-19...

Denmark and the Netherlands also have that mutated Covid-19 plus Australia...I was fully aware more countries were using the travel ban, I quoted France as it was the closest country to the UK plus I don't like their President..

Anyway this close to XMAS its going to be a problem for many people.
