Yesterday, I went to the JOBS movie. It was super. However, it reminded me of something Steven Gibbs said to me.
Back in the 1970's Steven Gibbs was young. He wanted to make his mark in the world and he went to California to Steve Jobs garage. This is where the first Apple ][ was born and it helped to inspire him on. Steven Gibbs spoke to Steve Jobs step father and found out that they had both liked electronics and they were both adopted. There was a poster on the wall it said:
This is for all the crazies. They do what others say can't be done.
Steve Jobs step father told Steven Gibbs that to keep the costs down they had used cheap off the shelf components so every one could afford one. This was a flash of insight for Steven Gibbs, if he used Radio Shack parts every one could have one. He got an idea that was just crazy. He would use Radio Shack parts to build a time machine.
