I found this very unique and extraordinary looking mineral that looks very suspicious like as if it is Alien. I took it to a museum and they identified it as “oxidized copper inside a quartz dome” and they said it’s really nothing special but I still refuse to believe that it’s nothing special because I checked the internet and there was nothing quite the same. They also told me that it is polished therefore I assume it suggests that it was previously owned, but why would someone throw away something so unique unless they somehow lost it. I found it in a river and maybe that is why it looks polished. I also had it appraised by a company online and they said it’s worth between $2000-$3000 because of its rarity. So anyways after all these years I finally thought to myself that what if there is something alien inside this mineral that is covered by a quartz dome. Should I break it all apart to see what’s inside this thing? Any suggestions of what I should do with this thing?
