Future is no different than the past 14 Billion years...that means...higher intelligence comes from mostly Organic kinds that includes God's Creation and Humanoid creation....mostly fully organic but you can have brains as organic...rest are basic I/O....
That is because God's stuff uses higher dimensions to manage the Intelligence and Database....that is the creation...
There is no such thing as solid state super creatures...that is impossible to make....but you can have organic computational devices...as much as you want. I am sure there are sea creatures who have been here much longer...can evolved to have much higher functionality that we do...in total EM spectrum and look the world much differently...
Edit: When you have organic systems as Computer systems that are in much higher capabilities than systems in the next 1000 years...then this can have spirits too...depending on whether humans join them or by itself someday...meaning, you can move your Life to it and remain immortal...a possibility....but that is basically future...keep thinking...
