Amazing Resonance Experiment..

Nice way to see wave interference patterns.
Easier to see interference in particles on a plate than in a wave tank.

Problem is, you can't see the waves like you can in a wave tank so in physics classes wave tanks are used.

ETA: if you change the shape of the plate, you get different patterns.

the best one ive seen was the one with circles inside each other and it had areas that made it look like it had planet positions like the solar system but even though the chaldini plate wasn't big enough it sure looked amazing
