Growing up, I got to see many animal vs. animal encounters. I remember, on several occasions, watching birds launch kamikaze attacks on cats, racoons chasing dogs, cats stalking squirrels, and so on. I distinctly remember a neighbor's small cat which allowed no dog, no matter how large, to set foot (or rather, paw) in my neighbor's yard, and yet was otherwise a very sweet and friendly animal.
Strange, isn't it, that even animals can recognize the importance of boundaries, and yet many humans cannot?
