My experiences of the 'Introduction' section on Forums, is that nobody reads them - well, apart from the Mods. 
But anyway, I'll just say a few words, then start posting.
I've had a few - in fact, quite a lot of things I couldn't explain, over the years, but recently 2 events that have stayed in my mind & that's why I joined this forum. To get opinions or even, an answer.
I live in Thailand & have been here for 10+ years.
I look forward to engaging with you all....
