Yeah I played Chrono trigger back in the day when I was a kid and I am inclined to agree with you on all the artistic aspects of games as they are worth appreciating. I myself still play retro games on my phone when I am killing time waiting in line or for the dentist or other times when I need to kill some time while waiting. But as an adult I have too many responsibilities to make it a regular hobby or something I dedicate any serious time to. But if it is ones passion I would look towards being a creator of games and not just a player.
I feel you. Music is my passion, but I haven't done much in the realm of creation due to depression, PTSD, OCD, narcissism, my friends living miles away, my living situation, abuse issues, lack of confidence, and a host of excuses, really. I've wasted a lot of time, all for nothing. It's been nearly a decade since I've wanted to form a band. I hope to get my act together this year. Being hit with a chronic illness that affected my hearing really changed my perspective a lot on things. And I have great opportunities, including a family business which already is getting some industry attention prior to our new release. I have sounds in my head that no one else is doing, and I'm trying to make guitar a daily practice now. I'm in my 20's, and my friends share my vision. Very supportive girlfriend, too.
What's your advice on manifestation? My only real barrier has been money, but I can see that changing. I have things I want to put my money towards besides this, too, that absolutely no one on the entrepreneurial end is putting their money into, as everyone is all too afraid of parting with their cash.
I'm opening to talking in private, by the way, if you'd prefer. I really dig your vibe.
