Brian's Strange Incident With Unknown Underground World

Even in modern days, we still get curious reports describing mysterious underground passages and strange unknown worlds that may exist beneath our feet.

A strange incident occurred in 1986 in the English town Showbury. The five-year old Brian Stone played in the backyard of his house under his mother's watchful eye.

Just five minutes later, the boy suddenly disappeared out of her sight. He could not go a long way from his house but no one was able to find any trace of him.

Local police search teams including the vast majority of the inhabitants of Showbury searched for the missing boy, but without any positive result.

After three days of searching, the boy was found alive and well but very tired. He had a very interesting story to tell…He decided to go to the nearby grove, just around the corner of his house.

Walking among the trees, Brian found a "hole in the ground" and wanted to explore it. Through the opening in the ground he found himself in a narrow and long corridor. He decided to go further until he reached a strange green place, totally different from all places he ever encountered in his life.

There was no sun shining there and the sky appeared to be very dark green.
Looking at the ground he clearly saw its color resembling a shade known to many as, khaki. (While looking at different color samples during the tests, the boy pointed out this particular color.)

According to the boy, of all things he saw, perhaps the most peculiar was a weird, small animal which had an unusual behavior.

It waved his "arms" like a child pretending to be a bird. The animal was covered with green fur with orange spots.

A moment later, a woman and two men appeared beside him. It was almost dark now but he saw that they had green skin and dark brown hair.

The color of their eyes Brian was not able to determine, however, he said their clothes were "shining".

Children That Emerged From Underground Realms -
A Parallel World?

MessageToEagle.com - In the Chronicum Anglicanum of Ralph of Coggeshall and the Historia rerum Anglicarum of William of Newburgh, there is a remarkable story describing an incident that happened in the village of Woolpit in Suffolk, at some point in the twelfth century.

Coggeshall' said “that he had frequently heard the story” from De Calne, while the historian from Newburgh said that he believed the story because of 'the weight of so many and such competent witnesses.'

Woolpit was named from the Old English wulf-pytt, which were deep trenches which had been excavated to trap wolves. It is said that one year during the harvest, two mysterious children emerged from one of these ditches.

They suddenly appeared out of nowhere. They spoke an unknown language, wore strange clothes, did not eat, and had green skin. They appeared to be not of this world.

Who were they and where did they come from?

Did the mysterious children enter our world through a time window, another dimension or did they emerge from an underground world? Over the years, many have been occupied by these questions, attempting to find an explanation for a very strange occurrence that so far has remained unexplained.

This is how the story begins. A long time ago, two remarkable children were discovered in the village of Woolpit, in Suffolk, UK. This incident took place during the reign of king Stephen of England (1135-1154). At harvest time, while the reapers were working in the field, two young children, a boy and a girl suddenly emerged from deep ditches.

People stared at them because they had never seen anything like this before. The children were dressed in clothes of unfamiliar material and had green skin. It was impossible to talk to them as they spoke an unknown language. The boy and the girl were taken home to a local landowner, Sir Richard de Calne.

Obviously, they were very sad and they cried for days. The children also refused to eat and drink anything that was offered, until someone brought in some fresh bean with stalks still attached. They survived eating only beans for months. Later they started to eat bread.

As time passed, the little boy became increasingly depressed, sickened, and died. The girl seemed to adapt better to her new surroundings.

She learned the English language, and gradually her skin was loosing the green color. She became a healthy young woman and she later married a local man.

She was asked about her past and where she came from, but everything she had to say about her origins only deepened the mystery. She explained that she and her brother had come from "a land with no sun", a perpetual twilight. All inhabitants were green there.

She was not entirely certain where her homeland was located. Still, she recalled that another "luminous" land could be seen across a "considerable river" separating it from their world.

It was also unclear how the children ended up in the ditch.

The young girl said that she and her brother had been looking after their father's herds and they followed them into a cavern where they heard sound of bells. They wandered in darkness for a long time and then they reached the mouth of the cave and were suddenly blinded by bright light.

The sunlight and the unusual temperature of the air made them tired and they rested for a while. Then they heard voices, saw strange people and they tried to escape. However, they were unable to locate the entrance of the cave and they were caught.

Many explanations have been put forward for the enigma of the green children.

Some suggested that the children were Flemish immigrants who suffered persecution. Their parents' had been killed and the boy and girl were hiding in the woods.

This theory would explain the unusual clothes, but not the fact that the children spoke an unknown language. Locals would have recognized Flemish.

Other speculated that either malnutrition or arsenic poisoning caused the green skin. There were tales of an uncle who attempted to kill the children with poison, but these rumors were never confirmed.

Yet, other people like for example the Scottish astronomer Duncan Lunan suggested that the children were aliens transported to Earth from another planet.

According to other theories, the children came from an underground kingdom or possibly another dimension.

Did she have any children, and if so were they born green?
Is there any written history about her and also the boy that died?
Are there any graves of either of them, or maybe her children if there were any?
