Right now it’s the year 2025 but we know there was history before year Zero, so that makes the date somewhat confusing. Why don’t they just start the date from the beginning of the BIG BANG. So technically it should be year 13.8….billion years. That would be more understandable.
So the Big Bang happened approximately 13.787 billion years ago but we can’t pinpoint the exact date of the Big Bang because there is a margin of error of +-0.02 billion years due to limitations of measurement, but wouldn’t it be cool if in the future with advancements in technology we could precisely measure exactly when the Big Bang happened.
