Now is clear the link between Livorno and Egypt, perhaps casual or perhaps desired, as was desired the Roberto da Volterra and the Templars journey from Egypt to the Livorno coast to reach the Valle Benedetta. An epopee that few know. Among them was a Egyptiologist named Champollion who lived in Livorno for a short time. Campollion had a strong bond with Angelica Palli. They met during visits to the warehouses where Egyptian relics were kept. Among them was born a "special" friendship that brought Champollion to trust Angelica on the supposed crossing that the Templars did to the coast of Livorno. Angelica was excited about the Champollion story so that she began her first research on the traces of the Templars of the Valle Benedetta. Her research took her to Demidoff's villa, which was the ancient Limone church, where Angelica organized a "black procession" to which distinguished guests such as Prince Luigi Bonaparte and Paolo Bartolomei participated. This meeting was meant to provide funds to finance hypothetical excavations that would have paved the hill "La Poggia". These excavations had to start from Villa Demidoff and get up inside the mountain to get under the "Conventaccio".
To impress Prince Luigi Bonaparte, Angelica Palli celebrated the "black procession" on a Friday in March. As a protocol, the procession was celebrated at the foot of a large cross of Malta depicted on the floor of the Demidoff villa. This cross has a very precise meaning and today anyone who came to visit this villa would come across this important cross of Malta on the floor. This cross is a starting point from which it is enough to know which side to turn our gaze..... that must never cross that of the "apostles".....

The excavations began after a few weeks and immediately some Etruscan tombs and finds belonging to the Gentile people were brought to light. Everything seemed to proceed for the better, when a night at Villa Palli, Angelica Palli had a nightmare, but it was not a dream, it was the romitone who turned into a mummy ordered Angelica to interrupt her research on the Templars, pending the death of her friend Champollion. Angelica frightened and upset abandoned the Valle Benedetta to move to Turin and return to Livorno only after death.
This is the very short story of Livorno's Angelica Palli short story, but her research did not go completely lost, some had feedback. During the excavations under the hill the Poggia was brought to light an Etruscan tomb where a giant's body was crowded, it is thought that the body of this giant belonged to the famous blacksmith of the ancient "lemon groves", its name was Limoncino. In his honor thereafter was built a village existing even today. The legend wants this giant to be a descendant of the Hercules family. In honor of Hercules, the giant built a tower of observation called "Hercules tower", but this is another story.
