Creating another earth is not so easy. Probably one of the biggest problems is not replicating the problems we currently cause.

This is very true. I don't believe we will ever achieve long term space flight unless our problems on earth are resolved. As long as we have all this money being spent on conflict, we will never be able to afford the cost of space travel.
