Just in case that didn't register, I mean the tangent, a trigonometric function, of the angle made by a line and an axis (x or y).
The equation is tan x = |df/dq|
Where x is the measure of the angle, q is the axis intersected with, and f is its counterpart (f -> q, x-> y or y->x).
