Let's discuss ways to get a really good EVP recordings when investigating.
I've personally found that using a small, digital recorder can work, but it's not always the best. There is a alot of digital noise when you enhance recordings.
The best EVP I've captured were using a laptop, a pre-amp, and a professional mic. The equipment doesn't have to be majorly expensive, but compressor mics will give you a nice, crisp recording and I personally have received better results. I also think that Cool Edit Pro, although old, is awesome software to use.
Does anyone else have any advice/techniques to share?
