Fire on my Property Last Night

For the camera part of your business, maybe this would be a good time to add cheap thermal cameras. Set the alert to go off if they detect any consistent temperature spike higher than a certain level. That could come in handy late night when people are sleeping. The smallest cheap ones I've seen only display a slow postage stamp sized image, but these would be more used as a trigger event rather than trying to make a thermal image recording.

They would have to be wireless.

That's some scary stuff... I'm glad the trees didn't all burn up. A 12-hour-long fire fight... Wow. There are wireless temperature sensors on Amazon but I don't know if any of them would be any good.

This didn't even make the news.

Good News, FFS, Florida Forest Services, went door to door yesterday collecting all our names and addresses and phone numbers because they are going to the police with this. This isn't the first time this happened, but this is the biggest fire, yet. And local news doesn't care, unless it's because it is still under investigation.
