It's not the Journey, it's the sharp sudden stop at the end that kills.

That Helmet is a real nice touch, obviously it protects the wearer from negative vibrations when you pass through time. Nothing worse than starting a argument when you just got here from the future, it could be with a Time Cop and THEN the jig is really up.
