I might be setting myself up for embarrassment here, but here I go.
Stephen Hawking said, "The best evidence we have that time travel is not possible, and never will be, is that we have not been invaded by hordes of tourists from the future." This seems very logical. Yesterday, I was listening to BBC Radio 2, and Dr. XXX (I don't remember the name) was answering questions from the phone lines. Someone asked if time travel was possible. He said that technically, we are going forward in time, a second at a time. On top of that answer, he went on to say that going forward in time was very possible, but going back would be challenging and somewhat impossible. (This isn't exactly what he said, so I am paraphrasing some).
Recently, I went on a binge of reading experiences of people going into time slips. I also spoke with an AI that said while theoretical wormholes would have the ability to teleport you from one place to another, they could also take you in both directions of time. This has left me feeling very confused.
So I'm asking here if it is possible, even if it is only on paper?
