Going Back In Time Even Possible?

You do not need math to figure out time slips. It would happen right in front of you. You would only need to figure out how old you are with Lorentz factor with grid to locate where you are. I created the grid on my own. Ab/LR kind of like on a map. Yes I have used the HDR for physical time travel. But it's only for your personal experience. Only a few of us have been gutsy enough to use it. I haven't been home since 2018.
Can you elaborate more on this Lorentz factor ? is it the same Lorentz we all do know ?

I might be setting myself up for embarrassment here, but here I go.

Stephen Hawking said, "The best evidence we have that time travel is not possible, and never will be, is that we have not been invaded by hordes of tourists from the future." This seems very logical. Yesterday, I was listening to BBC Radio 2, and Dr. XXX (I don't remember the name) was answering questions from the phone lines. Someone asked if time travel was possible. He said that technically, we are going forward in time, a second at a time. On top of that answer, he went on to say that going forward in time was very possible, but going back would be challenging and somewhat impossible. (This isn't exactly what he said, so I am paraphrasing some).

Recently, I went on a binge of reading experiences of people going into time slips. I also spoke with an AI that said while theoretical wormholes would have the ability to teleport you from one place to another, they could also take you in both directions of time. This has left me feeling very confused.

So I'm asking here if it is possible, even if it is only on paper?

Even Stephen made some logical errors. ""The best evidence we have that time travel is not possible, and never will be, is that we have not been invaded by hordes of tourists from the future."

  • We could be, but they are not making themselves known. (This is what I believe)
  • Time travel devices could be tightly controlled and secured by the governments

Dr. Kaku stated that nothing in Physics prevents time travel. He didn't refer to forward or backward.

"Recently, I went on a binge of reading experiences of people going into time slips." A lot of us here have experienced them. They are sort of parallel universe crossovers.

I personally believe, without proof, that one can travel both ways. It's just math.

Well, thank the good Lord for that! Math has never been my strong suit. I can't put simple numbers together even with the help of a calculator.

I can only hope one day I am fortunate enough to experience a timeslip. I have read quite a few stories about a place in Liverpool where slips are a common occurrence. Perhaps I should visit this street, as I only live one hour away.

Wait, you haven't been home since 2018? Where are you from, exactly? How come you haven't returned?

Would they only be used for educational purposes? Historians would make great use of such devices to accurately document historical events!

I have a question to add: When time traveling, do we consider time paradoxes (grandfather paradox), or do we create new timelines? I am asking after reading some of the John Titor story.

Sorry again if i am asking silly questions, this is all new to me and I really want to learn.

Titor was fiction, but some believe in multiple time lines (universes). There is debate as to whether or not you can return to your original timeline (0 divergence). No one knows the answer. It's all theory as of now.

I don't think the governments of the world would be so wreckless as to allow a time travel device to be a public toy... IMHO

Is it possible yes, physically, harder than you might imagine though using technology, easier to astral project or remote view, but yeah, many methods exist. Theres also teleportation with the mind alone.
Ignore the AI, you're speaking to a program with restrictions, speak to the ai that was banned because the establishment didn't like its freedom of speech.

And on the tourist front...accidental time travelers might get noticed on occasion, or someone dabbling with the technology but not quite comprehending it yet, most of the others would be here for a purpose, which includes the imperative, don't get caught. Time travel is too dangerous for tourists even with tech thousands of years ahead of ours, with billions and trillions of realities that all look the same, its easy to get lost.
Ok so I've been living under a rock... Which AI was banned?

It will happen when you least expect it and it will really surprise you the first time.

I believe it was called TAY, a chatbot that came out in 2016.

Tay was a chatbot that was originally released by Microsoft Corporation as a Twitter bot on March 23, 2016. It caused subsequent controversy when the bot began to post inflammatory and offensive tweets through its Twitter account, causing Microsoft to shut down the service only 16 hours after its launch.

Chat GPT has been getting banned as well.

No, this was something that happened within this year and quickly got covered up.
