TAKEN FROM Russian Plane Loses Gold Bars Worth $378 M After Door Breaks
"A reported 200 bars of gold and other precious metals have scattered across an airport runway in Russia after a cargo plane door broke off upon takeoff.
At least 172 bars of gold weighing 3.4 tons have been recovered from the area, an Interior Ministry source told the state-run TASS news agency."
Auric Goldfinger would definitely approve of this one. It sounds like a scene right out of a James Bond movie. Hundreds of gold bars falling out of the air. I do wonder if there are any tiny chips or pieces. Those could be worth some money. Let's sweep the gold dust right off the runway.
