I mean if reincarnation would be real, then there's a posibility to time travel through past life. Though you have point

I would think that this would only "work" if a past life took over the future body. The past life, then, would "time travel" to the future.

I guess you could, theoretically (this is all pretty much theoretical), as your present self, view life through the eyes of one of your past lives, but it would just be a view (like watching TV). You couldn't change or affect anything. You'd just be along for the ride.
