Interestingly, food scientists say the nation’s obesity epidemic started at about the same time the food industry started slipping HFCS into every food product you can imagine. Come to think of it, a dramatic rise in diabetes and liver problems also arose at about that point.


People sadly like obnoxiously sweet products thus HFCS has become really popular. Anyhow try not drinking it for yrs then trying again and you will probably find it tastes horrible almost like drinking glue

Try having corn syrup based fake blood in your mouth lol it tastes horrible

Pure cane sugar is still processed sugar but there is a pure form of sugar though I can not recall what it is called. Anyhow it is supposedly a lot more healthy though a tad bit more expensive too.

The reason I mentioned it is because it keeps getting the blame for the damage all the substitute and man made sugars are causing. Back when it was just cane sugar there was no obesity from it. You are right about it being processed though. A more safe alternative would be to just eat it in its natural form. It has been found that eating foods in their natural form has more health benefits for you.
