Good catch! I checked, and the 10 to the 9th power is a typo. It is actually 10 to the 4th power. So, the actual formula should have read "electrical current of 10(4th power) A per cm(2power)".

I think you will find that cm2 refers to, "per square centimeter", and not "per centimeter to the power of 2" :)..
