I agree. No matter how big the prize is, some people are dumb enough to spend it all on useless and crazy stuff.

I was doing the math and even after all the taxes there would still be $500,000,000 left. If invested with just a return of 4% on that amount, the interest is $20,000,000 dollars a year. Or about $12,000,000 after IRS taxes every year. So if $12,000,000 a year forever is not enough to live off of, then said stupid person should be listed next to the definition of stupid in the dictionary.

Now that the big bucks are gone, the Powerball is down to a measly 40 million. I think now is the time to think big, play, and WIN since you would remain under the public radar as no one really cares about the small winners.
