JROTC and ROTC

Hey, this thread is to discuss JROTC and ROTC, since there are some members here who are in High School or College, and others are involved in JROTC/ROTC. I am involved in the Navy JROTC here at Northmont High School, and we are going to Nationals on April 4. I am on the Armed Exibition Team, the IDR teams, Colorguard, and Athletics. I plan to go to the Air Force Academy after i graduate, get my officers commission, and become a pilot for the Air Force. I hope to hear about other members posts about JROTC/ROTC.-Malaki

I was in Jrotc in high school. Ohio 861 Air force. I was planning to join after high school. But life had a funny way of directing me to a different path. One weird, or scary thing about ROTC is if there is ever a draft, I almost have no choice, I must join, or at least will be fast tracked due to my 4 years of training. And I thought being 26 I'd be able to avoid it. Darn....
