Made this new ambient track

That's a great track. I really like how it feels.

It reminds me of the music in a game I played a while ago: FreeOrion. I was able to find the track on Youtube:


I like such ambient, slow moving songs.

What kind of tools are you using to generate such music? :)

Hey thanks for the kind words everyone. I just wrote another tonight - "Peace by Falkon303 - Hear the world’s sounds"

As far as what I am using, currently I am really enjoying this new fx unit (actually it's old, but new to me) called the Digitech DSP128+ multi-effects. Most of what you hear is my CS6X keyboard through that fx unit, and alot of other audio processing in Cubase 5. The strings are internal/software VST Instrument.

Cool game music btw Num7.

I can imagine floating thru the universe and taking in the colors, such were in the Event Horizon movie or following the white light. Maybe you could write stuff for movies...don't know how hard that would be to get into. Great sound!

Hey,

I recently got a Numark 4Trak.

I mixed some bass & drums into it. It's no longer Ambient :cool:

I'm by no means a pro... just playing around :rolleyes:
