Mandela Effect: My Hot Take

I think many people think of the Mandela Effect as the crossing over or mixing of two alternating timelines or universes. After much thought, I disagree. What CAN we deduce from the Mandela Effect? Firstly that, somehow, it is possible not only for a person's to forget a piece of information, but that it is possible for that piece of information to be supplanted by different piece of information. Secondly, that it is possible to alter that aspect of our reality for one person, while having everyone else in this reality remember the event the "official" way (for lack of a better word). However, none of this at all suggests anything about alternate timelines or universes. My point is that the Mandela Effect as evidence of alternate timelines or universes is a leap of logic, and we should be wary in just accepting such a train of thought.

The mere fact that we can choose a variety of paths into the future is proof of alternate timelines.

I mean alternate parallel timelines. Yes, I could add lemon to my tea, or forego adding lemon to the tea, and those would be two potential timelines. But those are sort of hypothetical, and pertain to events in the future. When we talk about the Mandela Effect, we are, as far as I can think of, discussing the past.

You haven't thought this through. Your choice of paths to the future is real. Not hypothetical. So? If they already exist, then wouldn't those timelines also have alternates past histories? They would! And they do!

If you deliberately decide to change your everyday habitual choices, then pay attention to your surroundings. Shouldn't different timelines have differences? Or you could just continue on your path to the future and ignore all differences. Like you have been doing. Not really giving much thought to the 2 story house next door that when you think about was a 1 story house. Or like the one I started experiencing a few years back. All the door knobs all now seem to be door lever handles. Don't know when it happened. I wasn't paying attention.

The more you zig zag through your future choices, the more difference in your surroundings you will notice.

Every see someone from your past that you thought was dead? I have! I've done enough zigging and zagging to now exist in a timeline that is clearly vastly different from the one I was on.

It's not real until I actually act on them, though. It doesn't exist anywhere outside of my mind, at least there's no reason to believe so.

Where I think in modern times the Mandella effect came from was the Montauk Experiment. Using the radar dish research people were trying to find a universal method of control for human beings. Really, when one looks at the Montauk Experiment, it comes out in script more similar to a horrible high school play version of a 1950s sci fi horror film.

In the book think it was Nichols the Montauk Experiment, they managed to assemble a wild animal marching parade to journey up the main avenue of the town of Montauk itself. You had Billy and Bobby Raccoons, Timmy Panther and his friend. Squirrels and other animals lined up two by two traveling in parade fashion through downtown Montauk.

Can you imagine the puzzled look upon local residents faces, as this new type of animal friends progressed down the street. All one need was a mini-hamster band to provide musical cadence to this gathering. There were probably people that day who threw away their prescriptions as they were under the opinion they were hallucinating.

That's not all that Montauk managed to goof on. The goings on at this facility were somehow being broadcast on the mental level as far South as Virgina. People were picking up the goings on their level of conscious. *In effects and this is still figuring out who's on first in this weird baseball game, is that there was an effect probably from the modified radar dish plus other equipment, or sectoral reality difference provided by power grids per district.

At the time, they were reporting Congressman Tip O'neal as being dead; yes' definitely gone. But in other sectors they were reporting that Tip was going to attend such and such as meeting, in DC or wherever. If I'm not mistaken, didn't they also report African Nelson Mandella as being alive and dead around the same time?

They attempted to make the Montauk Experiment so secret, with the crazy events that were coming out of it, as so secret that everybody knew.

This say of mine also goes back in time to the Time Travel Institute and was the expression of the Mandella effect, as power utility per assigned power grid phenomena? If any of the audience should pick up and read the Montauk Experiment by P Nichols, find a quiet nook to read it in, because it's worth the time.

This wasn't the only crazy series of events going on. This was the mysterious inspection crew inspecting the Silver Bridge, going from Ohio to Virgina, I think. There they had people that were defying gravity with being able to ascend the bridge super structure leaning back at a forty-five-degree angle, without the use of ropes. And oh' the People in Black were great too. This reporting as relayed by author John Keel with a visiting strangely put together lady, who had one breast sewn on a few inches higher than the other and didn't know how to manage to walk about a coffee table.* Book source, The Mothman Prophecies, by John Keel. U can buy it used or new.

This period of time was weird well beyond belief. Lamdo

Very interesting and informative post. To the best of your knowledge, did any similar unusual experiments take place in 1988 or 1989?

I'd guess more than likely. There's a lot of stories from that era of {people in black} types that were weirds-villes stating obviously dumb statements to normal innocent people. This was nationwide. Lamdo
