Illegal Immigration Crime Wave Hits US
By Frosty Wooldridge

He's a former U.S. Marine. He served his country with honor. Now in his late 20's, he serves as an officer of what is known as the 'thin blue line'. He's the difference between you being safe at night in your home or being mugged on a city street or killed by a speeding drug dealer. He patrols a major city on the East Coast during his grave yard shift. This is his log in three parts relayed to this journalist concerning stories of America's accelerating crime crisis: illegal immigration.

"What made you get in touch with me?" I asked Doug Hamilton (not his real name).

"Nobody in the media will expose what is happening in every city in America," he said.

"I couldn't possibly make any of this up," Hamilton said. "Of dozens of calls that were dispatched last night, two crashes involved Hispanics that fled the scene. One illegal was arrested. Later, a female from Peru, who did not speak English, was arrested for domestic assault with a weapon. I ticketed another unlicensed illegal for motor vehicle violations. As a police officer, I come into contact daily with people who are in this country illegally and who have no respect for the law or American citizens. Even when treated with respect and courtesy, and being warned instead of being arrested, they again flaunt the law. The reason for this is that they know there are no federal repercussions after they are arrested even though it is discovered they are here illegally. They don't respect our laws because we don't enforce them. Period!"

Few Americans realize that 29 percent of criminals filling jails across this country are illegal and legal immigrants. They cost US taxpayers $1.6 billion annually. The ones that suffer from tuberculosis or hepatitis spread those diseases to other inmates. This causes further medical costs into the millions. This officer proceeded with a few examples:

"I stopped a car for a violation and discovered the operator was an unlicensed illegal immigrant who worked as a busboy in a Spanish bar," Officer Hamilton said. "I allowed a licensed friend of his to drive him home and warned him he could not drive. Several days later while I was walking a foot post, I observed him about to enter a car. He looked at me, got in, and started to drive away. I towed his car and gave him a ticket. The very next week I again observed him driving and this time placed him under arrest. He posted bail. He was arrested again by another officer for operating without a license. He did not respond to court or pay any of his fines. He was arrested on a warrant, but did not serve any jail time. Every officer I know can relate similar stories. These are just the ones we catch."

What would you say is one of your greatest frustrations as a police officer?

"This summer I observed a group of illegal male Hispanics drinking from beer bottles in one of our parks. I did not take action, but told them to the empty the bottles and then join their friends in the picnic area. Beer is allowed, glass is not. I parked a short distance away, but right in front of me, they returned to the vehicle and removed several beer bottles, drinking them a short distance away. I ended their party and wrote tickets. Why did they do this despite my presence? No respect for our laws."

What are the dangerous aspects you encounter regarding identification?

"This one drives me nuts," Hamilton said. "Illegal aliens learn many ways to confuse the police and hinder them in their investigations. The most common way is to pretend that they don't speak English. Another common method is using several different names. If a man's name is Juan Sebastien Lopez-Garcia, he will use several variations of that name and often change his date of birth. He may use Juan Lopez the first time he is arrested. The next time he may use Sebastien Garcia. The intent is to prevent an officer from discovering a past arrest or warrant--and it does work. The reason is that rarely does an illegal alien have any true documentation, so it is much tougher to verify a person's identity. A better way is to make a custodial arrest and require photo ID before allowing release. Unfortunately these offenders are often released after showing dubious photo ID's that are easily obtained for a fee."

What you're reporting is a complete lack of law and order or respect for the law. With millions more poised to be added with the Bush amnesty, what do police officers think about illegal aliens?

"I gotta tell you," Hamilton said. "Many Americans are fed up with the current trend of our government turning a blind-eye to the massive problem of illegal migration. We create immigration laws that are ignored and then, when enough people sneak into this country, we pardon them by granting amnesty. This encourages further violations. It is also unfair to the thousands of people who have followed the proper immigration procedures to obtain citizenship. It also encourages these people to continue breaking laws while they are in the country, especially motor vehicle laws. Municipal and state law enforcement officials, like me, are fed up with arresting illegal aliens, only to have them released. We must re-arrest these individuals when they again commit a crime, as they invariably do."

Are you saying that national security is ineffectual? How great is our risk each day?

"I can tell you," Hamilton said. "If an illegal alien wants to legally circumvent our driving laws, he can obtain a license from a state with minimal identification requirements. In Virginia for example, if a person has a Virginia address and a photo ID, like a passport, he can obtain a license. Once an illegal has this document, he can now legally drive in this country and has legitimate identification. I discovered this after I compared notes with several other officers and learned that illegal aliens would go to Virginia, get a license, and then use it to drive in other states that had stricter laws for obtaining licenses. This way when they were stopped, the only action an officer could take would be to write a ticket for failure to change address. This is what I do. I spoke with a cooperative illegal who told me that many of his friends would go to Virginia and that they all used the same address of someone they knew in Virginia, on the application. This was very common. This is a tremendous hole in our national security system that needs to be closed--NOT opened by allowing illegals to obtain licenses. Since 9/11, I believe that states have tightened up on this aspect, but I still receive Virginia licenses with regularity."

After writing a ticket to an illegal alien from Guatemala whom had no license, this officer said, "Guess what he is doing? Delivering papers. His job requires him to drive a car, yet he has no license. Unbelievable! But it gets better. I warned this same guy several weeks ago not to drive. I had been heading to a call and told him it was his lucky day because I did not have time to write him a ticket. I told him that if I saw him driving again, the next time I would tow his car. So after writing him over $400.00 worth of tickets, that is what I did."

This officer's shift was over at daybreak. He was worn, tired and ready for a hot shower and meal. What would go through one's mind if they were serving their state and country with their lives on the line daily while their own leaders would not uphold our nation's laws? It begs the question across America concerning the rule-of-law. If our laws are routinely disobeyed by illegal aliens at the federal level and then, at the state level-and finally, at the local level with impunity-at what point does a nation move toward lawlessness as the norm? What is the definition of law? How long before it breaks down to the point whereby so many disregard it that a community can't function or functions in fear. With 20 million illegal aliens operating in the United States, an amnesty will draw millions more just as a green light means 'GO' in traffic. This officer will explore what it means on his night shift.

Loss Of Law And Order

While American citizens ponder why our nation's leaders won't stop this massive immigration tidal wave, our police officers stand in front of crashing consequences of this illegal armada.

The Russian Mafia, MS-13 Mafia, 18th Street Gang and Chinese Mafia operate with impunity because of Special Order 40 enacted in Los Angeles in 1979. That order stops police from determining the immigration status of anyone stopped. Since then, it has migrated to dozens of cities.

Doug Hamilton stops and arrests hundreds of illegals in the course of his shifts. He, like you ponders, why the 'higher ups' refuse to lift a hand against illegal migration? Are they insulated in their gated communities?

"Here is a question asked numerous times. What exactly does the INS, now the

Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement do?" Hamilton asked. "I know what they are supposed to do and it has something to do with protecting our borders and enforcing immigration law, but they don't do it. I know they now have a new name, and a wonderful new leader, but I still don't see any action."

Homeland Security--are you listening? The only color code we need is green. You either have a green card or you don't. If you don't, then you need to leave, not register to work as our president has proposed. I learned early on in my career that an INS agent, or whatever they are calling themselves now, virtually never shows up when called about an illegal alien. I assumed that they only responded to very serious felonies, but this doesn't seem to be the case either.

"I learned about an example of this from a fellow officer last night during my shift," Hamilton said. "We were talking about the massive problem of illegal immigration and the ineffectiveness of the BICE when he told me about a call he had several years ago. He had stopped a truck for a motor vehicle violation and discovered the truck was uninsured and unregistered. The operator was a previously deported felon and was placed into custody for the motor vehicle violations. While the car was being searched, a loaded handgun was found under the passenger seat. INS was notified and said they weren't interested, but to call back if he was convicted. Interesting! A deported felon with a weapon is in police custody, but they are not interested. The illegal felon went to court and was convicted of the charges and he was sentenced to three years, suspended sentence, followed by three years probation. For those of you not in the criminal justice field, I'll explain. HE WAS NOT GOING TO SERVE ANY JAIL TIME. The officer again contacted INS and guess what? Believe it or not, INS did not respond. A previously deported felon, with a loaded gun, is arrested by the police and neither the federal or local government care."

"We've got a problem," Hamilton said.

How can you expect police officers to do their jobs, if after making an excellent arrest, the response is to let the criminal loose? It demoralizes the cop and it encourages the illegal alien to continue breaking the law--knowing that there is no price to pay. If you wonder why there appears to be a breakdown of law and order, this is why.

This is an example of Third World Momentum accelerating into the United States. I've traveled in much of the Third World. Mail carriers will only deliver mail when patrons pay bribes. You must have your postcards and letters canceled at the window or they will be stolen. You can not trust a single mailed package to make it to its destination from thievery. Entire police forces are on the take. Many help drug peddlers. You can not trust the food to be free from diseases such as hepatitis. Milk and meat are exposed to hot air and flies in the market place. Extortion and racketeering are the norm. Citizens run red lights as a matter of course. Litter is thrown with impunity on streets, country roads and major highways. Garbage and trash along with plastic are tossed into streams, lakes and into the oceans. There are no rules, or if there are rules, they are not enforced-therefore not obeyed.

For example, in Lima, Peru, the major river flowing out of the mountains meanders through the city. On each bank for 10 miles above the city are hundreds of millions of cans, bottles, junk, trash and filth. Additionally, the same trash floats down the river in a never-ending stream of pollution. Thousands of shantytown people live in the squalor and defecate/urinate and throw any amount of poisons into the water. The mouth of the river underwater and in the Pacific Ocean is a pile up of humanity's debris. It's beyond sickening and revolting.

This Third World Momentum manifests itself in Officer Hamilton's city.

"Illegal aliens in this country know that there is little chance they will be deported, so they keep sneaking in," he said. "While it is nice to see that we are deporting some of those that over stay Visas in the war on terrorism, we are not deporting the domestic terrorists that are slowly eroding our infrastructure. No one wants to disarm and remove the ticking bomb that is illegal immigration before it destroys our economy permanently. Instead, the government has proposed the novel solution of granting amnesty again, although that is not what they are calling it. It's a slap in the face to the thousands of Border Agents that risk their lives daily driving these migrant invaders back across the border. For what purpose? If the police and border agents are not supported on the state and federal levels respectively, with aggressive prosecution of these criminals to include deportation, morale will continue to fall. What incentive does the front-line soldier have to stop the enemy, if his country refuses to admit there is a war?"

This crisis is being multiplied in every city in America. Cop by cop, city by city, the march of illegal aliens and loss of law and order proceeds steadily, methodically and perniciously. Thousands of examples manifest themselves daily in our land. It's like something or someone is planning the destruction of our country by applying an unknown force to crush law and order.

"This is the biggest obstacle officers face today, a lack of motivation and low morale because of our government's refusal to take action," Hamilton said. "You begin to develop an attitude of, "What is the point?" Why should I bother to do a good job, when ultimately it is for nothing. We still end up making the requisite arrests, but there is little satisfaction at the end of the day. We constantly make arrests and advise the people in charge of the problem, but the politicians don't want to pass meaningful legislation. Instead they cater to these illegal aliens, hoping to win their votes and the support of the many Hispanic organizations popping up in this country. God forbid one of these elected officials takes a stand and demands that we stop trying to be empathic and start enforcing the laws of this country. He would be labeled racist, a political death sentence."

"So, how did my shift end today?" Hamilton said. "Well, I observed a truck run a red light. The operator was from Guatemala and told me he had no ID. I then discovered the license plate belonged on a different vehicle. The vehicle was uninsured. The vehicle was unregistered. Magically, the illegal alien produced an ID card and a pay stub from a local nursery, once he was placed into custody. This would enable him to post bond, but I released him on a PTA. He won't show up for court and somewhere down the road he'll get arrested again. My head is beginning to hurt from banging it against the brick wall of our ineffective legal system."

"As I enter the lobby of police headquarters to turn in my paperwork, I observe three Hispanics waiting for a Spanish interpreter so they can get some assistance," Hamilton said. "I can't help them because I don't speak English. I guess I should learn Spanish. I asked a buddy of mine in the locker room if he knew what the capital of Guatemala was."

He laughed and said, "Of course. We work in it."

Violent Third World Momentum

The clergy and power elite used the word 'heretic' in the 16th century to brand anyone who spoke with an independent mind. The word 'heretic' shut off all discussion, debate or evolving thought. People feared being branded a 'heretic'.

Today, the words 'racism' and 'xenophobe' are used to shut off all rational discussion on the accelerating illegal alien invasion facing America. Never mind that 20 million people stomp around our country and into our lives in ever increasingly detrimental ways.

This crisis features more illegals and specific ethnic groups pandering even greater numbers of their passage into our country to the detriment of us all. It's now beyond dangerous for the continuation of this nation as a viable republic. Even more frightening, we are at risk as a sustainable society from the standpoint of clean air, energy, water and enough food-as we're pushed to add 250 million more people by mid century.

Since the US media will not broach it except for Lou Dobbs and Congress sits twiddling its thumbs except for Tancredo, Ron Paul, Sensenbrenner, Price, Deal and Norwood--much like the early history of our nation, patriots who live down in the streets of America-must awaken their fellow countrymen.

And so, a brave police officer tells it like it is. Doug Hamilton gives this report in Part III of a police officer's story concerning the invasion of illegal aliens. "Just so you know, these incidents that I relate are from personal experience, so they are accurate," he said. "I wish the public knew the massive problems these illegal aliens create."

What Hamilton's report brings to the surface is what the national media refuses to address. President Bush force feeds us into criminal chaos. The national media winks at the existence of 20 million people who illegally crossed our borders. Thus, the 'fluff stories' feature people who come here 'to work for a better life'. Today, it's not a few, it's millions, and now, millions of us suffer-in every realm of American society.

"People like my sister, who just got her degree in social work, only get the media version or turn their blinders on," Hamilton said. "They feel sorry for them. She will learn that she needs to feel sorry for legal Americans and the poverty this invasion is causing in the working classes. Americans can't order a burger at McDonald's because the cashiers can't speak English. Then, if a person expresses his disapproval at this poor service a manager is called to inform the customer that his business is not desired because of his "racist" attitude."

"One area that is frustrating is the lack of respect many of these illegal migrants have for members of American society," Hamilton said. "As it is, they know there is little to fear from law enforcement officers. Because of the political stigma attached to speaking out against the numerous crimes these people commit, most administrations turn a blind eye to the growing problem of the lawless behavior these people exhibit. Yet, over the last week, most of the calls I have responded to, and arrests I have made, have been of illegal or legal immigrants."

What officer Hamilton talks about is a general disregard for the rule of law. It is the same in the Third World. Laws are not obeyed as a natural aspect of a lack of respect for an ordered society. It's why so many societies do not function with any kind of standards. It's why chaos rules. It's why people starve. It's why for example, Mexico has no environmental laws. It's why so much of Mexico suffers human degradation. It's also why law enforcement in Mexico and Columbia is done without restraint or protocol. It's why gangs and lawlessness thrive.

"We have had two cases where officers were physically resisted and assaulted, forcing them to call for emergency assistance," Hamilton said. "The first case involved an illegal migrant family from Peru. The three male cousins, all of whom had Virginia driver's licenses, were wanted for an assault they had committed earlier. Once the responding officers attempted to make the arrest, they were fought and the sister and mother also assaulted officers. All five were arrested.

Hamilton continued, "These incidents and statements are a cause for alarm because they are not isolated. They reflect the disdain for America and American citizens that these people have. These statements typify the feeling of entitlement that has been created because of our nation's non-existent immigration policy. An illegal immigrant has enough working knowledge of our legal system to demand a warrant, yet openly flaunts those same laws, knowing he will not be held accountable. If he is held accountable, he can claim that there was a language barrier or that the responding officers were racist. I find it interesting that we, as law enforcement officers, must obey every rule and are held accountable for every action we take, yet there is no effort to hold these criminals accountable for their actions."

The only reason law enforcement is effective is that law-abiding citizens fear being arrested for doing something illegal. They fear speeding tickets, because they may lose their license. If their licenses are suspended, most of these people will refrain from driving or at least be cautious if they decide to again break the law.

"This is not the way illegal immigrants react to an arrest," Hamilton said. "In fact, many of these illegals go out of their way to draw attention to themselves. Speeding, running red lights, adorning your car with illegal lights, and blasting loud music are not the actions you would expect a person that has no license to take, but it is common."

This lawless behavior also extends to areas such as littering, noise ordinances, and being drunk in public. Yet, they have come here to work for the American Dream.

Hamilton added, "In my experience, this has not been the case. These are people that are becoming an increasing burden on the criminal justice system and costing taxpayers billions of dollars. In other states where I have friends that are police officers, they report the same thing. Ultimately, because we refuse to enforce the laws of our borders, the laws of the individual states are laughed at as well. This makes the job of law enforcement officers impossible. When faced with an impossible task, many people give up. Police officers are no different. Many have already thrown the towel in when it comes to dealing with these people because nothing ever happens after the arrest is made. The problem is only going to get worse."

Officer Hamilton and hundreds of thousands of other police officers nationwide face a mounting crisis in the 'Thin Blue Line'. At what point do illegal alien numbers become bigger than the number of police officers? What happens as the criminal element of these illegals 'enclave' themselves in cities across this nation like the 20,000 member '18th Street Gang' has done in Los Angeles? How about the growing Honduran Gangs in Washington, DC? At what point does lawlessness overwhelm the rule of law? With an average of nearly a million illegals crossing US borders annually, that equals 10 more million in a decade. It's been documented that 60 percent of the '18 Street Gang' are recruited from illegal alien aliens. What happens as these gangs spread? Who will check their progress? Will it lead to a mass flight by American citizens? Why should Americans be forced to flee from their own cities and states because their own congressmen and senators won't enforce immigration laws? How can police officers be called 'racists' when they are doing their jobs?

Just this past March 3, 2005, Lou Dobbs exposed a group of sexual predator illegal aliens who raped and killed some American women. Dobbs rattled the audience by chastising Bush for doing nothing. But here is a story that chills further from a reader:

"I've been reading your words for the past several months, and unfortunately, your truth dealt a drastic blow to my family," a wife of a police officer wrote. "On February 13, 05:38 hours, my husband drove into work and was struck head-on by an airborne vehicle traveling at 71 mph. The accident was equated to my husband free-falling off a 14-story building in his pick-up truck. The person behind the wheel of this guided missile was a 19-year-old intoxicated, uninsured, unlicensed, illegal alien."

"The Mexican's blood alcohol level was equivalent to someone blowing a 17," she said. "My husband was pinned inside his vehicle for 20 minutes while first responders freed him. It took an hour to free the Mexican from the crushed 1985 Nissan sedan he was inside. My husband was transported by ambulance to a trauma unit; the Mexican was airlifted to the same hospital. Staples had to be used to close a large laceration on my husband's head, and he sustained five breaks in his right leg, ankle and foot, massive contusions and lacerations in his left leg, and a cut spleen. The Mexican suffered two broken legs, a broken arm and head trauma."

While the Mexican's breaks underwent surgery immediately, her husband had to wait because of the extensive tissue trauma he experienced. Because of the blistered skin on his leg, the doctor was only able to perform a minor surgery this week, placing pins into his ankle, hoping for the best. Anything further would risk necrosis of the skin and death to the bones in his foot."

"As my husband entered the operating room, the Mexican was released but transported to jail," she said. "The Mexican's bail is set at $4250.00. If he gets out, odds are against him returning for his court date. And of course, he doesn't speak a word of English. My husband and I are responsible for the tens-of-thousands-of-dollars of medical bills compounding literally daily since the accident, until our uninsured motorist pays-in-full after this ordeal is over. I am told the Mexican will not have to repay his medical debt. Taxpayers will afford his free stay in the hospital and the temporary stay in jail."

"The sad part - setting aside the intense suffering my husband has experienced - is he has been a police officer for 28 years," she said. "He'd set a date for retirement in four years and eight months. According to his doctor, he has a 50/50 chance of ever returning to work."

"We purchase insurance to protect others from ourselves in case of an accident," she said. "Only what do we do to protect ourselves against the uninsured illegal? These are truly sad, pathetic times we live in. You never realize just how pathetic until you have your own encounter with an illegal from across the border. The system at hand has failed us miserably, and no one seems to know that any clearer now than a police officer."

What's going to happen to us as more and more illegal aliens do not subscribe to the rule of law? Eight women were raped in Boulder, Colorado a year ago by illegals who fled back to Mexico. Their city council supports Special Order 40 to protect and harbor illegals. Colorado University quarterback John Hessler was hit head-on by two illegals who fled the scene back to Mexico. He lives a wheelchair existence. Chai Vang gunned down eight deer hunters in Wisconsin last fall. Six died. National Parks Ranger Kris Eggle suffered death at the hands of a drug smuggler. An illegal alien ran down a Denver police officer last year in a school cross walk. What if kids were in the walk at the time? Eight police officers tested positive for tuberculosis in Austin, Minnesota from arresting infected illegal aliens working at the meat packing plants. An illegal alien killed police officer David Marsh in Los Angeles. It's called, 'THIRD WORLD MOMENTUM' forging a freeway into America. Not a single one of us is safe from this national nightmare. And all President Bush says, "They come to do the jobs Americans won't do." I'd like to spit in his face.

Six Iraqis detained on Mexican border

ASSOCIATED PRESS
7:33 p.m. March 29, 2005

MONTERREY, Mexico ? Four Iraqis were detained at an airport in the border city of Mexicali for allegedly carrying false passports, and two more were caught at a highway checkpoint, authorities said Tuesday.

The four Iraqis arrived Friday at the airport in Mexicali, across from Calexico, California, on a flight from Mexico City and were detained after immigration officials discovered the Dutch passports they were carrying were false, said Abraham Sarabia, an attorney general spokesman in Baja California state, where Mexicali is located.

Alya Kiryakous Dawood Sako, an American citizen and the sister of one of the Iraqis, was also detained and questioned. Dawood was released after immigration officials determined her passport was legitimate but she was turned to immigration officials and is awaiting deportation, Sarabia said.

Sarabia said immigration officials noticed the men became nervous during routine questioning and once in custody of federal authorities they confessed their true identities.

The men were carrying Dutch passports under the names of Richard Richters, who Mexican officials say is Yacer Yoser Hana; Mikel Leewen, who turned out to be Basam Kiryakous; Jan Pieter Drijfhout, who is Basam Toma Jou and Robert Schurtman, whose real name is Sabham Kamel.

"Once in custody they told authorities they intended to sneak into the United States," Sarabia said. "They said they started their journey in Greece, traveled to Spain and then to Mexico City."

The men were being held at a prison in Mexicali pending charges for using false documents.

Also Tuesday, soldiers detained two Iraqi men traveling on Greek passports at a roadside checkpoint near Mexicali.

The two men were traveling aboard a bus bound for Mexicali. However, the photo on one of the men's passport's had been altered; he was also held pending charges, while the other man was held pending deportation.

Mauricio Juarez, a spokesman with the Migration Institute, said none of the men appear on terrorist watch lists.

It was not clear whether the Iraqis were linked to the Chaldean Christians, who have a sizable community in Southern California and frequently try to enter the United States through Mexico, claiming they face persecution in Iraq.
