I wish I could explain it, but I cannot. I have used mirrors in the past to temporarily capture really bad spirits...And it worked. Was always fascinated by holding a mirror to its reflection in another, bigger mirror. It was explained to me that they get trapped within the multiple images and get confused, but that still means that they 'enter into the mirror' which (to my mind) seems impossible. Are mirrors an entry point into another, very real dimension? In my educated guess....Yes. I have spoken with people whom were undergoing a haunting and a few claimed to have witnessed seeing "lights coming out from a mirror". Spirits can pass through most solid objects but mirrors are not solid to them. They're like a gateway, both enter/exit. Still sort of blows my mind.
