More advanced concepts beyond 2012: animals and humans
Be prepared to be shocked.
Most People have been led to believe domesticating animals, dogs, cats, birds and other creatures of the wild, and keeping them in captivity is a natural and loving thing to do.
Since all animals, except the working ones, naturally belong in the wild, the forest, and the jungle having them prisoners in a house, a zoo, a circus or for so-called scientific experiments is an irrational error that has created along the centuries bad karma for humanity.
Once brought indoors those creatures are fed toxic substances and contaminated water, brought to veterinarians who inject them with all sorts of toxic chemicals and pills, not to mention shampoos and sprays for fleas and itching which are damaging to our rivers and lakes, chemicals that eventually end up in food and water used for human consumption.
In my opinion the answer to animal exploitation lies in educating the community to leave animals alone, and to stop purchasing them at pet shops. Once this is understood and practiced the problem with commercial animal breeding will be over, no more pet shops, no more puppy mills, and no more money-hungry veterinarians.
Actually common sense dictates those lovely, marvelous creatures are better off in nature, under the sunshine where they belong, having a natural diet, and in close daily contact with Mother Earth.
In addition the practice of raising so-called farm animals for consumption is not only terrible for the environment, but meat eating and cow milk drinking is an unnatural unhealthy habit that can be easily replaced by, preferably organic, vegetarianism and frutarianism.
