Im from the UK Hartey so i dont have any knowledge of Berle, however i do remember Burl Ives and his great songs like the Ugly Bug Ball
I did have an idea about the thinking surrounding a 1960s TV...it could be used as a "witness" to the 1960s...also it could be possible that a working TV set of that era, if coupled up to an original antenna of the day, might be capable of pulling in TV transmissions from the 1950s and 60s...the TV set would be acting as a type of Einstein-Rosen Bridge....I need to think now how a microwave transmitter comes into the equation.....
